What is NTR doing in Begumpet ?

Quite busy in wrapping up the shooting of his latest flick “Temper”, which has Puri Jagan directing it, NTR Junior is going always to finish it at the earliest. After canning few scenes at Aluminium factor where a special police station and court interior set are erected, the unit have not shifted to Begumpet for a half day shoot.

Apparently the exterior work of couple of Court scenes and police station scenes are being filmed here. Though the backdrop of whole movie is set in Vizag, Puri Jagan is using matching locations to get the right result in a faster time. February 5th is the tentative release of the film.

Telugu SuperStar Jr. NTR Upcoming Movie Temper Movie Full Details: Temper is an upcoming Telugu film written by Vakkantham Vamsi and directed by Puri Jagannadh. The stars in lead roles are N. T. Rama Rao Jr. and Kajal Aggarwal . It is produced by Bandla Ganesh under the   Parameswara Art Productions banner. Shyam K Naidu is handling cinematography for the film, while Anoop Rubens and Mani Sharma have composed the soundtrack and background score respectively. Temper” is deemed as an action entertainer with NTR playing the role of a cop. The film is all set to hit the screens on 9 January.

Gay comedy Upsets Pawan fans !!

Hero Nitin is best known for using Pawan Kalyan in his movies since Powerstar graced the eve of Ishq audio. In today’s release Chinnadaana Nee Kosam too he used Pawan’s image similarly.

Apparently in a scene, Nitin and Ali acts as gays to get the stolen keys of car from two other gays. While trying to impressing them, these two dance along them for couple of songs including Pawan’s Kiraak song from Attarintiki Daredi movie. Doing silly acts for their God’s song has literally upset fans say many. But the makers are actually defending that they created entertainment and fun with that song usage, but nothing to demean.

'Mukunda' movie Latest Review (English)

'Mukunda' being a seemingly hero-centric title, one expected the Mega hero to be indulged like crazy.  What is in store, however, is an overdoing of Rao Ramesh, making us wonder if Srikanth Addala could not resist him ever since watching the final copy of SVSC. Watching Varun is like watching a grossly under-utilised Prabhas in a semi-mute role.  With no romance and comedy, he is ever on the verge of breaking into a violent mode.  Meanwhile, his bete noire, Rao Ramesh, the 5-time Municipal chairman who is more powerful than the sitting MLA, comes across as someone who is in awe of Varun's repartees.  When Mukunda is around, his wit can scorch the arrogant rival.  After a few moments, the subdued villain rationalises his behaviour in front of his 'chamchas', while letting free the "kurradu" to molest his honour.  All along we seek a plot in vain. After trying a family entertainer, Srikanth sets a conversational action entertainer in a more or less same cultural setting.  The backdrop gives him the luxury of revealing some more of his humour.  In an avoidable flaw, Varun's character is allowed to be overshadowed by Rao Ramesh's.  For all the witty lines that are peppered here and there (giving us a sense of deja vu), there is an element of overstatement running through the film.  As in SVSC, the male lead effortlessly charms the heroine, but this time the girl has to admire her guy overtly or covertly till, well, the last minute of the film. The director is clearly in excessive love with his dialogue-writing style, a love comparable only to Srinu Vaitla's love for his dialogue-writing style.  In one stroke, the reticent hero who rarely speaks but speaks cleverly can win a victory over his prime rival and the entire town before you know. Varun has a friend for whom he is an all-weather buddy.  The friend's love affair with Rao Ramesh's brother's daughter is the trigger point for the rivalry between Varun and Rao Ramesh.  Varun every time humiliates the arrogant politician who can't brook opposition with his verbal intimidation.  Not just him, even his father (played by Parachuri Venkateshwara Rao) can send the bloody chairman packing through his repartees! There is Prakash Raj, the frustrated Indian who mocks at Indians, lives on the roadside, and who owes all his intelligence to English-language dailies.  After you have reconciled to the fact that the film has no story, no romance, no heroine with a hero, the tough nut bursts open on the election scene propping up the aam admi Prakash Raj.  Mickey J Meyer marshals a soft tune from his limited repertoire at this juncture, and after the song you see Rao Ramesh's defeat. If the narrative is devoid of the regular commercial elements that we get to see, somehow the understated heroism doesn't work.  While Varun may be quite talented, he is under-utilized, just as actresses often are. The intention may have been to depict him as a dumbed down version of SVSC's Mahesh Babu - smiling never, speaking less, romancing only in a duet or two. It is hardly exciting if the villain is shown to have goosebumps when someone is filing is nomination. Technically, the production values pass muster.  The art work and Marthand K Venkatesh's editing are good. Varun has the verve to portray the tough guy role.  He has chiselled looks and renders a restrained performance.  he could be essaying a suave role in a slick action film. If the best of Varun may be yet to come, Rao Ramesh proves his mettle yet again. Verdict: Sans loudness and crassness, Mukunda has a scent of SVSC.  But it lacks a good story and barring less than four scenes, it hardly has anything to keep up our interest. Rating: 2.75/5

Rs 25 Crore to Mahesh Babu? A Silly Joke!!

Rumours were abuzz that Producer Prasad V Potluri has offered a staggering Rs 25 crore pay cheque to Mahesh Babu as remuneration for the upcoming flick 'Brahmotsavam'. This flick is being directed by Srikanth Addala of 'Kotha Bangaru Lokam', 'SVSC' and 'Mukunda'.

In fact, A remuneration of Rs 25 crore for a Tollywood Hero is out of question at the moment. For films '1 - Nenokkadine' and 'Aagadu', Mahesh Babu was paid anywhere between Rs 14 to Rs 16 crore. Neither of these flicks crossed a share of Rs 35 crore and eventually ended as huge disasters in the career of Prince.

What would be final budget of the movie if Mahesh Babu alone charges Rs 25 crore? Not less than Rs 70 crore! Will the producer be able to make profits even if the film hist the bull's eye in such cases?

Pic Talk: Balayya Rock's In Senior Look

Here comes yet another picture from Balakrishna's upcoming movie being directed by newcomer Satyadeva. As the Nandamuri hero plays a stunning role of a CBI officer, we get to see his aged look in the movie, probably from a flash back it happens to be. His twirled big moustached and sparkling spectacles create that intense look for him while his posing on the car is heroic.

As fans are eagerly waiting for the teaser of his debut flick that is likely to hit on December 31st, these still are like those creamy soups before a big-fat meal.

Good news for NTR Fans

NTR fans have been totally disappointed once the news about Temper’s delay was out. Though initially, the film was slotted for Sankranthi release, it has been deferred as the shooting came to a halt abruptly.

Meanwhile, the first look of NTR was released and the fans went totally crazy.

Even as his fans rejoiced, came the news that the film’s shooting has been stalled indefinitely. Then, there were rumours that the shooting was stopped due to financial troubles.

Though a release date in February was making rounds, it was suddenly not clear as to when the film would be released.

But now comes sweet news for NTR fans. According to the film’s writer, Vakkantam Vamsi, the film’s shooting will be resumed within four days.

If the shooting continues without any further delay, then the fans can expect to watch Temper in February. Even if it’s stretched a bit, the film will surely come in March.

Once the shooting part is wrapped up, the release date is simply a matter of finding a good day after all.

Rabhasa movie which was aired on December 11th on Gemini Television has 14.5 TRP ratings. Gemini TV stood in first place with 14.5 TRP rating. 'Rough' Review: Effort Gone Waste

Subba Reddy Release Date: November 28th, 2014 Aadi's career took off smoothly with Prema Kavali and Lovely. But after that he had three releases Sukumarudu, Pyar Mein Padipoyane and Gaalipatam. Incidentally, all three were box-office duds. Now, Aadi has changed his genre from romantic films to action films and is trying to evolve into a full-fledged mass hero. With six-pack body and punch dialogues, Aadi has tried to emerge as a rough and tough hero. Let’s see if he succeeds in his attempt… Story: Chandu (Aadi) falls in love with Nandini (Rakul) thanks to her sweet and caring nature. But instead of confessing his love to Nandini, he tells her brother Siddharth (Srihari) about it and throws a challenge that he would make her fall for him. He plays a double game by telling Siddharth that Nandini had fallen for him and meanwhile he becomes good friends with Nandini. As the story progresses, Siddharth gets to know that Chandu is a murderer and that he had been to jail in his childhood. Artistes’ Performances: Aadi has worked real hard to have an image makeover and emerge into an action hero. Though he has developed six packs, mass dialogues and heavy-duty fight sequences do not suit his body type. In fact, dialogues like ‘samudram lonchi senkhalu kaadura… sevaalu lestayi’ don’t go with his image and one ends up feeling if Aadi’s decision to go for an image make-over was a bit early. There seems to be enough time for him to try his luck at action films, but lover boy image suits him fine for now. Though Rakul Preet Singh signed the film prior to her success, her current popularity will surely help her and the film. On the other hand, the characterization of late Srihari is really bad. One cannot decipher if the director wanted to make a villain out of him or a comedian out of him. Raghu Babu’s comedy goes overboard as always. Had another comedian been taken in place of Siva Reddy, the character would have worked out better. Technical Excellence: Melody Brahma Manisarma’s songs are not catchy, but the background is really good. Senthil’s cinematography especially in action scenes is a major highlight. Though the film is full of punch dialogues, none of them are noteworthy. In fact director Subbareddy uses the six fights and six songs template that has been long discarded all over again. Already, there is no depth to the story and the narration is no good either. Wonder how he forgot that one cannot draw audiences by making a movie full of fights. Barring build-up shots and action scenes, Subbareddy doesn’t seem to have concentrated on anything in particular. Highlights: Rakul Preet Singh Drawbacks: Story without depth Uninteresting narration Second half Analysis: Barring dialogues such as “laagi kodite antettu egiri padatadandi…” , the story barely has any exciting points. It is but natural for every hero to want to do larger than life character at least once in his career. So, in the film that Aadi did to fulfill his desire, there are six songs and six fights. And in between all these, there is very thin story line. The story progresses with sister sentiment for hero and brother sentiment for heroine. Somewhere along the line, the inevitable clash between the heroine’s brother and hero happens. But had the team pondered over questions like didn’t such films come before, will they still like such stories and does the film have paisa vasool elements, then the story would not have become a feature film. There is absolutely no reason as to why one must go and watch this film in a theatre after buying the ticket. For starters, there is no story, so the narration is nothing much to write about
