Junior NTR's "Nannaku Prematho" has made superb collection at the Andhra Pradesh and Talangana (AP/T) box office in three days. It is set to beat the first weekend collection record of "Srimanthudu".
The Sukumar directoial, "Nannaku Prematho", has grossed approximated Rs 27 crore at the AP/T box office in three days. The Junior NTR and Rakul Preet Singh starrer has earned Rs 19.45 crore for its distributors in three days. It has become the third highest grosser in three days after "Srimanthudu" and "Baahubali".
"Srimanthudu" was released in over 1,050 screens in 950 locations across the two Telugu states on 7 August, 2015. Having opened to overwhelming response, the Mahesh Babu starrer has collected Rs 35.20 crore at the AP/T box office in its opening weekend. The movie has fetched Rs 26.69 crore to its distributors in three days. It was the second all-time highest grosser Telugu movie in the first weekend after "Baahubali".
Since "Nannaku Prematho" hit the screens on Wednesday, it has another two days to conclude its opening weekend. The movie is expected to earn more than Rs 7 crore for its distributors in the next two days. It will surely beat the first weekend collection record of "Srimanthudu" at the AP/T box office.
