Former Congress MLA from Secunderabad and
veteran Actress Jayasudha alleged that she
failed to retain her Assembly seat in the
recently held general elections due to
internal differences in the party.
Jayasudha participated in the review meeting
conducted by TPCC Chief Ponnala Lakshmaiah
at Gandhi Bhavan. Jayasudha stated that she
learned politics only after facing defeat in
the recent elections. Jayasudha said that real
party activists were not properly encouraged
and she opined that Youth Congress should
be strengthened in Telangana.
Jayasudha said, “I was just an actress when I
contested the polls in 2009. However, I
understood the real politics only after losing
the 2014 elections.I lost in the elections due
to internal differences in party.Genuine
workers are not encouraged in the party
which led to party's dismal performance,
especially in the GHMC limits. There shall not
be discontent among the leaders and activists
should be taken along in the party activities’’
Jayasudha entered politics during 2009
assembly elections and won from
Secunderabad assembly constituency. She
contested from the same constituency in
2014 too and was defeated.After lost in
elections Jayasudha now concentrating on
films.
Jayasudha who was seen as Ram Charan’s
mother in Yevadu is playing an important role
in his upcoming movie ‘Govindudu
Andarivadele’.
